Tina Ghantous Maher teaches yoga as an accessible path to personal wellbeing, and awakening to our place in the web of life. She has a diverse background that includes travel, folk music, African dance, Thai Yoga Bodywork, organic agriculture, biology, and many other things. Tina had her first transformative yoga experience in 1997, and from that time on she has studied many styles of yoga, in many different places, in between other adventures.
She has over 300 hours of teacher training and is certified by Yoga Alliance. In addition to adult hatha yoga classes, Tina has offered preschool programs, prenatal yoga, and taught at special events. She finds yoga to be an invaluable tool for enjoying life, motherhood, and long Vermont winters. She has taught classes in Glover, at Heartspace Yoga in St. Johnsbury, Open Space in Hardwick, and other locations. She is the mother of two young children, and aims to weave her practice into every moment.
